Project summary

The main objective ( the key question)  is to give the pupils insight in the European agricultural legislation by comparing a business that grows apples and one that grows oranges.

The students have to decide which business profits most from the European legislation, in order to reach this conclusion they have to formulate a key question and sub questions.

In the sub questions they have to compare the different geographical sites, the differences in climate etc.

The objective is that they gain knowledge about the differences in the geographical environments and the effects on agriculture.

The students also have to gather information about  the economic importance of the business in relation to the total orange and apple business in the two countries.

Finally they have to investigate the importance of the fruit business to the employment of the region.
