The agriculture,
interpreted in sustainable terms, plays a central
role in the protection of
territory,
constituting
with an eco-compatible productive activity but also, founded, therefore, on
biological and natural rules. The
contemporary city
has expanded to excess, leaving nearly always the protected
and agricultural zones as reservoir for the city increase;
the XX century has been characterized
by
a clean separation between agriculture
and city. Some recent experiences,
instead, demonstrate as a possible re-balance of the city ecosystem can
happen just through the hybridization of the two arrangementss, and the planning
of such hybridization is one of the challenges of the contemporary plan.
